July 27, 2006

Transoceanic has recently been awarded a project freight management contract by Bayer AG for the largest single-train MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) production facility in the world. Transoceanic and the project group will be responsible for shipping over 50,000 freight tons of construction material and equipment to the MDI project site located in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, People’s Republic of China.

Supporting the effort, Transoceanic will position a dedicated project team on-site by July, 2006 for its anticipated 20-month duration. In addition, Geologistics/Germany will support the technical and commercial aspects of the project for all cargoes originating from Germany. The project’s scope will encompass land, sea and air transportation, purchase order and vendor management, and on-site logistics.
