Thomas J. Griffin Named President & CEO of Agility Project Logistics

Houston, October 5, 2007 --- Agility, a US $4.5 billion global logistics provider, has named Thomas J. Griffin to the position of President & CEO of Agility Project Logistics, the specialized business unit of Agility devoted to serving the projects and oil and gas sectors.

Griffin, a ten-year company veteran, replaces Gregory Rusovich, who is leaving to spend more time with his family and to focus on recovery efforts in New Orleans, his home town. Rusovich has led the project cargo company, founded by his father in 1947, since it was acquired in 2005. Agility Project Logistics has 27 international offices and is based in Houston.

In the logistics industry for over thirty-five years, Griffin has had responsibility for global business development, operations, finance, and administration, with a primary focus on project logistics. At Agility, Griffin’s most recent position was Senior Vice President, Agility Project Logistics, with global responsibility for operations, business development, and sales. He reports directly to Essa Al-Saleh, President & CEO, Agility Global Integrated Logistics.

"We are sorry to see Gregory leave the firm that he helped build into a true global project cargo leader," said Al-Saleh in making the announcement. "We know he will make a great contribution to the City of New Orleans through his ongoing community work there. He has left a strong company and management team. Tom is now key to growing our global Project Logistics operations and ensuring continuity with our project customer base. With our continued focus on customer service, he will lead and continue to build this very important specialty business within our Global Integrated Logistics operation."

Griffin began his career in international logistics at Behring International, one of the early specialists in over-sized cargo and project logistics. In 1985, he joined Fritz Companies where he rose to the position of Vice President of Global Projects. In 1997, Mr. Griffin joined Transoceanic, which was renamed Agility Project Logistics in 2006.

A graduate of the University of Miami, Griffin currently serves as President of The Exporters Competitive Maritime Council.
